Surrounded by beautiful 115-year-old vines, our eco-sustainable Lytton Springs Winery stands as one of the most unique sites in all of Sonoma County’s wine country. A natural extension of Ridge’s commitment to sustainable vineyard and winery practices, this remarkable facility (built of straw bales and vineyard clay, and primarily solar-powered) is a wonderful environment in which to experience our exceptional single-vineyard wines.
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Lunch and Tasting at Robert Young Estate
For nearly 60 years, the Robert Young Family has been growing grapes in Sonoma County. In fact, Robert Young was the first grower to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in Alexander Valley, the very varietal that put the region on the viticulture map. And with six generations of farming under their belt, the scions of Robert Young understand the delicate balance between nurturing and harvesting from the land. In keeping family tradition, the family stays true to their roots by carefully pursuing perfection through experimentation, exploration, and good old-fashioned hard work.
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Stonestreet Winery: Estate Tour and Tasting
Stonestreet Estate Vineyards is the story of a family’s vision to defy the limits of California winegrowing. Jess Stonestreet Jackson and Barbara Banke established the estate in 1995, and their son Christopher Jackson and his wife Ariel continue the legacy — and the middle name “Stonestreet” has now been passed from father to son for three generations. Stonestreet is one of the most expansive and multi-faceted mountain vineyards in the world and produces a distinctive collection of single vineyard wines — powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, soulful Chardonnay and electric Sauvignon Blanc.
