Damien gained over 20 years’ professorial experience in the wine industry before joining Sonoma University in 2015. He has held senior roles in European and Australian academic establishments, most recently Burgundy’s School of Wine and Spirits Business. He has also worked in the prestigious Wine Marketing Group on a series of research projects that investigated consumer purchasing motivation and industry retail strategies. He has published on a wide range of subjects including consumer behavior and innovation management.
